Alina and Chad
Alina and Chad’s engagement session at the Mackenzie King Estate in Gatineau Park took place during peak fall colour, with portraits among the historic stone ruins, forest trails, and open fields glowing in the evening light. Spending the evening exploring several corners of the estate together, and including time with their dog along the wooded paths, made the session feel relaxed, personal, and perfectly suited to the kind of outdoor setting they naturally gravitate toward.
With their wedding day planned at Stonefields Estate, choosing a location surrounded by nature felt like a meaningful way to begin documenting this season of their lives together. The warm autumn tones, quiet trails, and soft golden light created the perfect backdrop for photographs that reflect both their connection and the calm, thoughtful way they approach this next chapter.
Some of my favourite moments from Alina and Chad’s engagement session included wandering through the fall forest together, portraits among the stone ruins, and of course time with their dog Indie, who completely stole the show more than once.
